What you'll be doing

As a Data Governance Engineer, you will be a part of an Agile team to work on data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data products, RACI, Ontolgogy etc., Clarify requirements and guide non-technical stakeholders by translating business needs into actionable data management outcomes

Responsibilities: -

5+ years of Open Metadata tool experience of is a must Technically strong with OpenMetadata tool - especially Collate and has done multiple customer implementations.

Detailed work experience on data governance workflows, Data Contracts, Data products, RACI, Ontolgogy etc.,

Clarify requirements and guide non-technical stakeholders by translating business needs into actionable data management outcomes.

Drive cross functional collaboration across Business, IT, Compliance, and Data Owners within a complex matrix environment. Assess and strengthen foundational practices in Data Quality, Data Stewardship, and Metadata Management, including defining pragmatic templates and workflows.

Support validation and assessment activities through basic data querying/profiling where required Display Good communication skills and should be able to provide 4 hour overlap with EST timings (~09:30 PM IST) OpenMetaData tool with Collate

What we're looking for

Educational Qualifications: -

Engineering Degree BE / ME / BTech / M Tech / B.Sc. / M.Sc.

Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable.

Mandatory Technical skills: -

Open Metadata tool

Collate

Good to have skills: -

Knowledge of Agile Methodology
