We're seeking an experienced Data Governance Manager to play a key role in establishing and implementing enterprise-wide data governance practices within a large, complex organization.

Rather than simply enforcing policies, you'll help shape how data is managed across the organization, partnering with business leaders, data owners, and technology teams to build practical, sustainable governance frameworks.

What You'll Do

Data Governance & Master Data Management

• Design, implement, and continuously improve enterprise data governance processes, standards, and controls.

• Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives to improve data accuracy, consistency, accountability, and reliability.

• Establish clear data ownership, stewardship responsibilities, and governance frameworks.

• Collaborate with business and technology teams to integrate governance practices into daily operations.

• Support data governance workflows and processes within Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM).

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, data owners, and data stewards.

• Lead workshops, training sessions, and collaborative discussions to drive governance adoption.

• Help teams understand their responsibilities and confidently navigate new governance processes.

• Build strong relationships across business units, shared services, and technology teams.

• Champion a culture of data ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Governance Operations & Process Improvement

• Develop governance operating models, process documentation, RACI matrices, standards, and procedures.

• Coordinate governance forums, working groups, and decision-making activities.

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT), workflow improvements, and post-implementation governance processes.

• Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve organizational efficiency.

• Support the transition of governance initiatives into sustainable business-as-usual (BAU) operations.

Data Quality, Reporting & Performance

• Help establish data governance KPIs, performance measures, and reporting frameworks.

• Monitor governance adoption, data quality improvements, and operational effectiveness.

• Partner with stakeholders to identify and resolve data management challenges.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business recommendations.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Master Data Management (MDM), or a closely related discipline.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Management, Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience implementing or supporting data governance initiatives within a complex organization.

• Strong understanding of data ownership, stewardship frameworks, governance operating models, and accountability structures.

• Demonstrated ability to develop business processes, governance documentation, standards, and procedures.

• Experience working collaboratively with business stakeholders, technology teams, and senior leadership.

• Excellent communication, presentation, workshop facilitation, and organizational skills.

• Ability to translate technical data management concepts into practical business solutions.

• Experience developing training materials and supporting organizational adoption of new processes.

• Experience supporting digital transformation, system implementations, or enterprise data modernization initiatives.

• Knowledge of change management methodologies and business adoption strategies.

• Experience mentoring data stewards, data owners, or business users.
