Data Hall/Construction Cleaning

Join our dynamic team as a Data Hall Cleaner, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure the optimal operation of critical data infrastructure environments. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a pristine and safe data hall environment, supporting the integrity and efficiency of our data center operations. Your proactive approach to cleaning and sanitation will help prevent equipment failures and promote a secure, professional workspace.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning of data hall floors, equipment areas, and surrounding facilities using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and vacuums.
• Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move cleaning supplies, equipment, or waste materials.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, cable trays, and other high-touch areas within the data hall environment.
• Operate custodial equipment efficiently to ensure floors and surfaces are kept in optimal condition for safety and operational efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols during cleaning activities, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical handling procedures.
• Assist with general facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the overall cleanliness and functionality of the data center.

Requirements

• Osha -10
• Proven janitorial or custodial experience, preferably within industrial or commercial environments such as data centers or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor buffing, sanitation practices, and use of cleaning equipment.
• Experience with chemical agent handling safety procedures and proper storage of cleaning supplies.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety protocol adherence in a high-security environment.
• Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and facility staff.
• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or porter roles is highly desirable.
