Data Integration Engineer

One of our clients, a New York based Healthcare Marketing firm, is looking for a Platform Data Integration Developer with experience in ETL and data integration tools. This is a fully remote role .

The Platform Data Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions that ensure seamless data flow across various systems. This role requires strong technical skills, a deep understanding of data integration tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.

The Platform Data Integration Developer reports to the AVP Development Operations and is responsible for driving the adoption of best practices for data management and data quality within the organization.

Business Health

• Understand the data integration strategies established to achieve client goals and objectives.
• Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using tools such as Boomi, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, AWS Glue, or similar.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across all integrated systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data integration workflows to ensure optimal performance.

Operational Excellence

• Collaborate with client and internal stakeholders to understand client data integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Document data integration processes and provide training to team members as needed.
• Contribute to the onboarding of new team members, sharing expertise and knowledge.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in data integration and ETL technologies.

Experience and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data integration, data management or related fields.
• Strong ability to design and implement data integration strategies and processes.
• Expertise in ETL tools (Boomi, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, AWS Glue or similar).
• Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical industry marketing, including knowledge of compliance rules and experience with brand planning and reporting requirements.
• Strong problem solving, strategic thinking, and collaboration and communication skills.
