Data Integration Expert – D365 WMS / Infor WMS

Role overview

We are hiring a Data Integration Expert to design, build and support data flows between warehouse management systems and the wider ERP and planning landscape.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (Warehouse Management) is the preferred platform; strong Infor WMS candidates will also be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage end-to-end WMS integration architecture, data mapping, transformation, and error handling.
• Build integrations between D365/Infor WMS and ERP, TMS, MES, e-commerce, carrier, and planning systems.
• Lead WMS data migration, cleansing, loading, reconciliation, cutover, and go-live support.
• Develop real-time and batch integrations using Azure Integration Services or Infor ION/BODs.
• Work with APIs, EDI, SQL, ETL, JSON/XML, SFTP, and middleware platforms.
• Integrate warehouse automation, RF/mobile devices, MHE/WCS, and labelling systems.
• Define data quality rules, monitoring, alerting, retry, and error-handling processes.
• Prepare technical designs, interface specifications, mapping documents, and test scripts.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and clients to translate warehouse processes into technical/data requirements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to reusable integration solutions.

Required Technical Skills

D365 SCM/WMS – Preferred

• D365 F&O Data Entities, DMF, OData, custom services, recurring integrations.
• Advanced Warehousing: locations, work templates, location directives, waves, license plates.
• X++, Business Events, APIs, Dataverse/Synapse Link and LCS exposure.
• Minimum 2 full-cycle D365 WMS implementations with data migration.

Infor WMS – Alternative

• Infor WMS/SCE data model including SKUs, facilities, locations, LPNs, tasks, and waves.
• Infor ION, BODs, ION API Gateway, Infor OS/Data Lake.
• Minimum 2 Infor WMS implementations or major upgrades.

Integration Technologies

• Azure Logic Apps, Service Bus, Functions, Data Factory, API Management.
• REST/SOAP, OData, JSON/XML, XSLT, SFTP.
• EDI: ANSI X12 / EDIFACT.
• Strong SQL and ETL knowledge.
• Python, C#, or PowerShell scripting.
• Azure DevOps/GitHub and CI/CD.
• OAuth 2.0, Entra ID, Key Vault, and data security concepts.

Required Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 6–10 years of data integration experience.
• 3+ years of D365 SCM/WMS or Infor WMS experience.
• Proven experience delivering at least 2 WMS go-lives, including data migration and cutover.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory accuracy.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Comfortable working across different time zones and with client teams.

Good To Have

• Microsoft certifications: MB-330, MB-500, AZ-204, DP-203.
• Infor WMS/ION certifications.
• Experience with Kinaxis Maestro, Blue Yonder, Relex, or o9.
• Exposure to AutoStore, Dematic, Honeywell Intelligrated, BarTender, or Loftware.
• Consulting/client-facing experience with US, UK, or ANZ clients.
