  • Escalate passenger or driver safety incidents, suspected theft, vehicle tampering, serious misconduct and material financial losses immediately.
  • Maintain an action tracker showing each issue, responsible person, agreed action, deadline and closure status.

Revenue Leakage Detection

  • Compare camera-observed passenger activity and vehicle movement with recorded trips and payments.
  • Identify possible unrecorded trips, cash collections outside SolarPay, fare manipulation, suspicious cancellations and potential collusion.
  • Report suspected revenue leakage within 24 hours of discovery, with supporting evidence.
  • Immediately escalate ongoing, collusive or material cases.
  • Maintain a leakage and investigation register and track cases through to closure.

  • Check data for gaps, duplicates and inconsistent timestamps.
  • Investigate and escalate unexplained discrepancies.
  • Ensure footage and personal data are only accessed by authorised personnel for legitimate business purposes.
  • Comply with SolarWheels' Data Protection Policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
  • Report suspected data breaches immediately.

The Data Intelligence Team Lead may recommend investigations, controls and operational interventions.

The role is responsible for identifying, documenting and reporting suspected irregularities but does not declare individuals guilty or impose sanctions.
