The Data Intern will support the data team in extracting, transforming, and analyzing large datasets across various domains. The role involves hands-on work with data, coding in Python, maintaining clear documentation, and ensuring high data quality and consistency. Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will carry out the below activities:

• Assist in data extraction from multiple structured and unstructured sources (APIs, databases, pdfs, etc.).
• Perform data cleaning and transformation to prepare datasets for analysis.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and insights.
• Create and maintain clear documentation for data sources, transformation logic, and analysis outputs.
• Help maintain data repositories and ensure version control using Git or similar tools.
• Collaborate with team members on ongoing research and data analysis tasks.

Job Specifications Knowledge / Education:

• Bachelor s Degree

• Consistent academic record

Specific Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python for data extraction and manipulation (Requests, Pandas, NumPy, etc.).

• Comfortable working with large datasets and performing data cleaning and transformation.

• Strong documentation and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and solve problems independently.

Desirable Experience:

• Prior coding experience with large datasets.

• Experience in working with government departments, NGOs, or academic institutions.
