Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Engineer - Cloud Security

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage DLP solutions and policies.
• Monitor DLP alerts, investigate data leakage incidents, and drive remediation.
• Configure DLP controls across endpoints, email, cloud, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Perform data discovery, classification, risk assessment, and root cause analysis.
• Fine-tune DLP policies to reduce false positives.
• Develop DLP dashboards, reports, and security metrics.
• Support audits, compliance, and data protection initiatives.
• Maintain DLP documentation, runbooks, and incident response procedures.
• Collaborate with SOC, IT, Cloud, Compliance, and Business teams.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of Information Security/DLP experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, Symantec, Forcepoint, Trellix, or Broadcom DLP.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
• Familiarity with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar, or LogRhythm.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Strong incident investigation and troubleshooting skills.
