About the Role

We are seeking a Data Management Analyst to support the Fleet Applications team of a global maritime leader in the Expedition Travel space. This role is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and alignment of system tables within the functional areas of Supply Chain, Hotel Operations, and Purchasing. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with strong supply chain data expertise who takes ownership of data governance to ensure seamless operational and logistics excellence across a global fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• System & Database Ownership: Maintain and update MXP, POS, and PMS systems to ensure accurate item setup, pricing, specifications, and availability across all vessels, markets, and supply chain channels.
• Item Master & Supply Chain Data Management: Own the full lifecycle of the Item Master—creating, updating, and retiring items including descriptions, categories, pack sizes, Unit of Measure (UOM), pricing, vendor attributes, and market assignments.
• Technical & Logistics Support: Support shipboard and supply chain operations by resolving system-related item issues such as missing items, incorrect pricing, specs, or inventory mappings.
• Operational & Inventory Reporting: Report item counts periodically and manage slow-moving or excess inventory reports to optimize vessel stock levels and ensure effective depletion of aging supply chain items.
• Data Optimization: Utilize advanced tools (e.g., AI) to review database records and systematically eliminate duplicates to maintain a clean Item Master and streamlined procurement data flow.
• Financial & Procurement Alignment: Coordinate with the Procurement and Supply Chain teams to upload contract pricing based on awards and agreements; update exchange rates and taxes on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Compliance & Review: Act as a secondary review and approval point for all inventory adjustments, cycle counts, and stock level changes to ensure data integrity, supply chain accuracy, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Professional Experience: 3–5 years of progressive data management experience, preferably within supply chain, logistics, or fleet operations.
• Domain & Supply Chain Expertise: 1–3 years of functional experience in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Operations, Purchasing, or inventory logistics modules. Experience with MXP MarineXchange or similar maritime/ERP supply chain applications is required.
• Technical Proficiency: 1–3 years of experience with MS SQL Server and SQL query development.
• Specialized Knowledge: 1–3 years of experience in materials management, supply chain data analytics, data cleansing/migration, data quality frameworks, and technical documentation.
• Software Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data manipulation) is essential.
• Execution: Proven ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple supply chain priorities in a dynamic environment.
