Data Management Architect, Senior

Description

The Senior Data Management Architect acts as the solution architect for data migration engagements. The role bridges the data migration/Data Mesh technical team and Infor CloudSuite products, helping projects determine the right approach for moving data from legacy environments into CloudSuite solutions.
You can connect business application context with deep data migration knowledge, provide clear direction to distributed technical teams, and become a trusted technical point of contact throughout delivery.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:

• Act as the technical-functional bridge between CloudSuite/functional teams and data migration specialists.
• Guide technical teams on the best approach for migrating and loading business data into target CloudSuite products.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support when delivery teams encounter data migration questions or challenges.
• Understand target ERP structures sufficiently to guide migration of core business data such as items, customers and suppliers.
• Lead and coordinate technical resources assigned to migration projects, typically small-to-medium offshore delivery teams.
• Help ensure data migration solutions follow sound technical practices while aligning with the target application.

Basic Qualifications:

• Strong database expertise and SQL knowledge.
• Demonstrated expertise in data migration and direct exposure to data migration projects.
• Experience migrating significant volumes of data into ERP environments.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including substantial or large projects.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to translate between functional and technical stakeholders.
• Collaborative, open-minded and team-oriented approach.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Infor M3 and/or Infor LN.
• Previous experience with Infor CloudSuite products or comparable enterprise ERP environments.
• Experience in a solution architect or technical lead capacity on complex migration programs.
