Data Migration & Data Quality Analyst

About the role

Analyze, profile, cleanse, validate, and transform data from legacy ERP systems for migration to a new ERP platform. Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and source-to-target validation. Investigate data quality issues such as incomplete, inconsistent, duplicate, or inaccurate records. Analyze large volumes of master and transactional data and identify root causes of data issues. Work with business, functional, technical, vendor, and project teams to resolve data concerns. Provide fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions. Ensure migrated data is accurate, complete, consistent, traceable, and fit for use.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, profile, cleanse, validate, and transform data from legacy ERP systems for migration to a new ERP platform
• Perform data mapping, reconciliation, and source-to-target validation
• Investigate data quality issues such as incomplete, inconsistent, duplicate, or inaccurate records
• Analyze large volumes of master and transactional data and identify root causes of data issues
• Work with business, functional, technical, vendor, and project teams to resolve data concerns
• Provide fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions
• Ensure migrated data is accurate, complete, consistent, traceable, and fit for use

About you

• 7+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Migration, Data Quality, ERP Implementation, or related roles
• Hands-on experience in large-scale ERP data migration projects
• Strong experience in data profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and mapping
• Experience handling large and complex master and transactional datasets
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and Advanced Excel
• Knowledge of ETL concepts and source-to-target mapping
• Experience with ERP platforms is preferred
• Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, Accounting, Supply Chain, or other transaction-intensive industries is an advantage
• Experience with Power Query/Power BI, Python, SQL Server, Oracle, or ETL/data integration tools is a plus
