DATA MIGRATION LEAD

Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
• Proven experience in data migration, data analysis, or data engineering roles · Strong SQL skills and experience querying large datasets
• Hands on experience with ETL processes and data transformation techniques · Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) ·
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and reconciliation concepts · Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent documentation and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, ETL development, and data transformation
• Hands-on experience with Databricks for data engineering, data migration, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in PySpark for large-scale data transformation, validation, and processing.

Knowledge Area

• Experience with migration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Azure Data Factory) · Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)
• Experience migrating ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Workday) ·
• Knowledge of data warehousing and reporting concepts
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments
• Understanding of data privacy and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR)
• Knowledge of Databricks, PySpark, and Python in cloud-based data processing environments.

Job Mandate
The Data Migration Analyst is responsible in planning, execute, and validate data migrations between systems, platforms, or applications.
This role is critical in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and availability during system upgrades, cloud migrations, ERP/CRM implementations, or application modernizations. The ideal candidate has strong data analysis skills, hands on migration experience, and the
ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
· Analyze source and target data structures, schemas, and business rules
· Design and document data migration strategies, mappings, and transformation logic
· Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from legacy systems to new platforms
· Perform data cleansing, de duplication, validation, and reconciliation
· Develop and execute data migration test plans, including mock runs and cutover activities
· Identify, track, and resolve data quality and migration issues
· Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle
· Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, DBAs, and project managers
· Create migration documentation, runbooks, and post migration reports
· Support Go-live activities and post migration verification

Pay: Php150,000.00 - Php180,000.00 per month
