Key Responsibilities:

• Review migration requirements, source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and business

acceptance criteria.

• Develop and execute test scenarios and cases for data migration across impacted applications

and platforms.

• Use SQL in BigQuery to profile, compare, and reconcile data between source and target systems.

• Validate record counts, key fields, relationships, required attributes, and business rules.

• Test data transformations, cleansing, standardization, defaulting, and exception handling.

• Confirm that migrated data is available and usable in downstream applications, reports, and

integrations.

• Identify and document data defects, support root cause analysis, and retest fixes.

• Participate in mock migrations, cutover rehearsals, production cutover, and post-migration

checks.

• Maintain test cases, SQL queries, reconciliation results, defect records, and test evidence.

• Communicate migration quality, risks, defects, and readiness to project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in QA, data migration, data validation on a transformation or application

implementation project.

• Strong SQL skills, including the ability to query and reconcile data in BigQuery or a similar data

warehouse.

• Understanding of data mapping, relational data, data quality, and source-to-target validation.

• Experience creating test cases from business requirements and technical specifications.

• Ability to investigate data discrepancies and work with business and technical teams to resolve

them.

• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
