Data Modeler

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test multi-dimensional business models to support analytics and reporting needs
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA and Product teams to ensure data models align with business requirements
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across all models and systems
• Participate in model validation and performance tuning activities
• Support deployment of new models and schema updates with version control software
• investigate and resolve production incidents and data-related issues within established service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring system stability and minimal operational disruption
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience in data models development (3+ years)
• Strong Database (OLTP/RDBMS) skills in SQL Server, Oracle etc.
• Expertise in Data warehousing, OLAP and business intelligence methodologies
• Knowledge on Star schema and Snowflake schema etc.
• Understanding of quantitative and statistical techniques
• Desire to learn new approaches to business modeling and to make positive contributions

Desirable

• Experience in Reporting tool, such as Power BI, Tableau etc.
• Experience in version control and deployment software, such as SVN, Jenkins etc.
• Experience in industry leading BI tools, such as Cognos, MSAS etc.
• Knowledge in Programming/Scripting language
