Data Modeler

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement gathering and translate business understanding into data modeling terminologies
• Perform data profiling tasks including granularity checks, datatypes, nullability, and anomaly detection
• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Prepare source-to-target mapping sheets and generate DDL
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and business rules
• Enforce data model standards and adhere to standards across Snowflake
• Maintain documentation for data models, database schemas, and changes over time
• Implement and oversee version control for data models, tracking changes and maintaining a history of modifications
• Offer support to developers, analysts, and other team members as needed
• Conduct design reviews with the central team and incorporate suggested changes

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience
• Associate's Degree
