About Position:

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeler with strong expertise in data modeling, data architecture, and ETL/ELT engineering to support enterprise data transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will design and maintain scalable data models that enable analytics, reporting, and business intelligence solutions while ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling techniques, data integration frameworks, database technologies, and modern data engineering practices. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and architects to build robust data foundations that support data-driven decision-making.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models aligned with business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, and engineering teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
• Translate business processes and reporting requirements into scalable and maintainable data models.
• Develop and optimize dimensional models including star schemas and snowflake schemas for analytics and reporting.
• Implement and support ETL/ELT data integration processes to ensure high-quality and consistent data delivery.
• Design and document data lineage, metadata, data dictionaries, and business glossaries.
• Evaluate and improve existing data models for scalability, flexibility, and performance.
• Partner with data engineering teams to ensure alignment between data architecture and implementation.
• Support enterprise reporting, business intelligence, data warehousing, and advanced analytics initiatives.
• Participate in data governance, master data management, and data quality improvement programs.
• Perform data analysis and profiling to identify data issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Create technical documentation, standards, and best practices for data modeling and integration.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and modern data architecture practices.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5–8 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, or Data Engineering roles.
• Proven experience designing enterprise data models for large-scale business applications and analytics platforms.
• Strong expertise with data modeling tools such as ERwin Data Modeler, IBM InfoSphere Data Architect, ER/Studio, Similar enterprise modeling solutions.
• Strong understanding of Conceptual Data Modeling, Logical Data Modeling, Physical Data Modeling, Relational Data Modeling, Dimensional Data Modeling.
• Expertise in designing Star Schema and Snowflake Schema architectures.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and frameworks including Informatica, Talend, Apache NiFi, Similar integration platforms.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience working with enterprise databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Knowledge of data integration, transformation, and migration methodologies.
• Experience with metadata management and data lineage documentation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within Agile and cross-functional delivery teams.
