Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Modeller with strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise data models. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling, along with a solid understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehouse concepts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for enterprise applications.
• Create and maintain Star Schema and dimensional data models for data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data models.
• Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data modelling standards.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across data assets.
• Optimize database structures and support performance tuning.
• Review and enhance existing data models to improve scalability and maintainability.
• Participate in data architecture discussions and recommend best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Modelling
• Hands-on experience with Dimensional Modelling and Star Schema
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience with data modelling tools such as ERwin and ER/Studio
• Good understanding of relational databases, normalization, and denormalization techniques
• Experience in designing enterprise data warehouse solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Data Vault modelling is a plus.
• Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.
