Data Modelling Architect

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled professional with experience in Oracle Database, SQL/PLSQL, and data modeling. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of database design, query optimization, and scalable data architecture, preferably with experience in the Life Sciences domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Oracle database queries using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Design and implement conceptual and logical data models, following Third Normal Form (3NF).
• Use data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio to create and maintain data models.
• Apply data design principles to support scalable applications and efficient database architecture.
• Participate in various phases of the IT project lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, and implementation.
• Translate technical concepts and database requirements into clear business language.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective data solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Expertise in database query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience in conceptual and logical data modeling, including 3NF.
• Hands-on experience with ERwin or ER/Studio.
• Understanding of scalable application design and data architecture principles.
• Strong exposure to the IT project lifecycle.
• Life Sciences domain experience is required/preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to business stakeholders.
