Data Operations Senior Engineer (Enterprise Scheduler)

About the role

Operate, monitor and continuously improve production data workloads. Manage schedules and SLAs, execute controlled changes, lead first-line incident response, and support data quality checks with complete evidence.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily/weekly schedules in the enterprise scheduler; maintain calendars/dependencies; implement health checks and alerts (e.g., Control-M, AutoSys / Broadcom Automic, Tidal Automation, Stonebranch Universal Automation Center (UAC), Redwood RunMyJobs, ActiveBatch, Apache Airflow)
• Triage and restore service; capture RCA and prevention actions; maintain runbooks/knowledge base
• Execute deployments/config changes under change controls with complete evidence and rollback plans
• Run DQ checks and reconciliations, file evidence, and track remediation with DG/DQ leads
• Publish job success/latency/SLA compliance; automate to reduce manual toil

About you

• At least 8+ years of experience
• 3–6 years in DataOps/ETL operations; hands-on with enterprise schedulers (e.g., Control-M) and production support
• Working SQL and Cloud data familiarity; exposure to Data Quality, Lineage and Metadata processes is a plus
