Data Operator
Seoul Gangnam (On-site)
- Part-time·No experience required
About The Role You wear a pair of data-collection gloves and a camera cap, then carry out ordinary hand work — picking things up, opening containers, sorting parts, handling tools. The gloves record how your fingers move. The cap records what you see. A session runs a few hours and follows a task list the research team prepares in advance.
You work in pairs. While one of you is recording, the other resets the workspace, lays out the objects for the next task, and checks the gear so the session keeps moving. You swap roles through the day, so both of you spend time on each side of the work.
Those recordings become training data for FRIDAY, Holiday's first industrial humanoid, designed to take on repetitive and physically demanding work in industrial settings. Consistency is what makes them useful: the same task done the same way, take after take, so a model learns the movement instead of the noise. No robotics or engineering background is needed — we teach you the equipment and the protocol on your first day.

What You'll Do
- Wear the capture gloves and cap, and work through the day's task list as instructed.
- Repeat each task the same way across takes so the data stays usable.
- Check recordings for occluded hands, dropped frames, or mistimed starts, and re-shoot when needed.
- Take the support role in turn — reset the workspace between takes, lay out the next objects, and check your partner's gear.
- Set up the workspace and calibrate the equipment before each session.
- Tell the research team where a task felt awkward or unclear, so the protocol gets better.
Required Qualifications
- Able to come to our Seoul office on agreed days. Sessions are arranged in advance.
- Comfortable standing and repeating hand work for a few hours at a time.
- Careful and consistent — willing to do the same task the same way many times over.
- Able to follow a written protocol and say clearly when something does not match it.
- Comfortable working side by side with one partner, trading off between recording and support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with repetitive, precise handwork — assembly, cooking, crafts, lab work, packing.
- Comfortable around cameras, VR headsets, motion capture, or similar equipment.
- Available on weekdays during business hours.
What We Offer
- KRW 15,000 per hour.
- Flexible scheduling — sessions arranged around the hours you have.
- All equipment and training provided. No prior experience needed.
- A close look at how a humanoid learns, alongside the team building it.
