Data Platform Administrator - 12 Month Contract

How does the role impact the organization?

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst. Reporting to the Senior Manager of the Enterprise Data team the Data Analyst will be responsible for designing and building business intelligence and data integration solutions.

Under the direction of the Senior Manager, Enterprise Data, Data Platform Administrator responsibilities include Azure administration, access management, support ticket triage and assignment to team members for troubleshooting and resolution, assisting business teams with data required to support business processes and automation of manual data manipulation and data exchange.

What will your role be responsible for?

• Proven Azure administration and access management experience.
• Proficiency in understanding and creating data models, data profiling, data mapping, data mining and data segmentation techniques.
• Analysis: Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions.
• Communication: Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate complex information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; recommend or take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences.
• Develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.
• Make internal and external clients and their needs a primary focus of action; develop and sustain productive client relationships.

Qualifications

What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s degree: Computer Science / Engineering
• Two (2) years of relevant experience preferred.
• Azure administration experience – minimum (2) years of hands-on experience
• Microsoft Azure Administrator certification
• Excellent SQL knowledge required.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $70,000 - 75,000 annually, in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.

Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, internal equity, and other job requirements.
