Data Platform and Reporting Manager

The Opportunity

My client is looking for a hands-on Data & Analytics Manager to lead a team responsible for modernizing enterprise reporting and data platforms across one of the Pacific Northwest's largest multi-specialty healthcare organizations.

This leader will oversee a team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, and SQL Developers while driving a major transformation initiative from a legacy on-premises data warehouse environment to a modern Microsoft Fabric and Azure-based cloud platform . You'll play a key role in shaping how data supports clinical operations, finance, revenue cycle, and executive decision-making across 35 specialties and 15 locations throughout Washington and Oregon.

This position reports directly to the Director of Data & Analytics and manages a team of approximately 7-8 technical professionals .

What You'll Be Doing

Cloud & Data Platform Modernization

• Lead the migration of the organization's Enterprise Data Warehouse from on-premises SQL Server environments to Microsoft Fabric and Azure.
• Help establish the future-state architecture, governance, and roadmap for enterprise analytics.
• Partner with technical and business leaders to prioritize data initiatives.

Data & Analytics Leadership

• Manage and mentor a team of Data Engineers, BI Developers, and SQL Report Writers.
• Establish development standards, reporting governance, and best practices.
• Drive delivery and remove roadblocks for multiple enterprise projects.

Epic Analytics & Reporting

• Support reporting and analytics across the Epic ecosystem, including:
• Clinical operations
• Revenue cycle
• Patient access
• Financial reporting
• Population health
• Leverage Epic data structures including:
• Epic Hyperspace
• Epic Caboodle
• Epic reporting tools

Finance & Business Intelligence

• Partner closely with Finance and Operations teams.
• Support analytics tied to:
• Compensation models
• Financial performance
• Revenue cycle metrics
• Operational reporting

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• 7+ years of Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Analytics experience
• 5+ years leading technical teams
• Experience managing both:
• Data Engineering teams
• BI/Reporting teams
• Strong healthcare industry experience
• Deep familiarity with the Epic reporting ecosystem
• Experience delivering enterprise reporting solutions and executive dashboards
• Experience leading cloud modernization or data platform transformation initiatives
