Your role and impact

As a Data Platform Manager , you will take ownership of the administration and ongoing evolution of our enterprise data platform.

The platform is being developed using Microsoft Fabric, but we are also interested in professionals with transferable experience administering major SaaS data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or Redshift.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and continuously improve the enterprise data platform.
• Manage platform configuration, access, security, capacity, availability, and performance.
• Oversee monitoring, optimization, incident resolution, and operational support.
• Establish platform standards, governance controls, and operating procedures.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, governance, and product teams.
• Provide technical leadership and participate in the platform’s on-call rotation.

What will help you succeed

Must-haves

• Hands-on experience administering and managing a major SaaS data platform such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or a comparable solution.
• Experience with platform configuration, monitoring, performance, security, and operational support.
• Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms, data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Experience troubleshooting complex platform and operational issues.
• Ability to provide technical leadership and engage effectively with global stakeholders.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in English.

Nice-to-haves

• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Fabric.
• Microsoft Azure experience.
• Previous people-management or team-leadership experience.
