Data Privacy Specialist

The Data Privacy Specialist will primarily assist the Data Privacy Officer in ensuring and monitoring the compliance of the University with the Philippines’ data privacy laws and regulations, and overseeing that DLSU has an effective Privacy Management Program in place.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Legal Management, Commerce, Industrial Engineering, Accounting  or equivalent
• At least 2 years of work experience in privacy, compliance, governance, legal, or risk
• Professional certifications related to privacy, risk, information security, cybersecurity is a plus (i.e. CIPM, CIPE, CRA, CISSR CISM, etc.)
• Knowledgeable in Data Privacy Law
• Knowledgeable in Privacy Impact Assessments, Risk Management, and Program Management
• Training or certifications related to privacy, risk, information security, or cybersecurity is a plus.
