Data product manager - circularity

A Senior Data Product Manager at our organization is pivotal in driving the development and success of data-driven products that meet the evolving needs of our customers and business.

You will act as a vital link between business objectives, user experience, and technical execution, ensuring that our data products deliver value and innovation.

You will be responsible to develop a portfolio of Analytics solutions / Dashboards, within the resource optimization domain and especially the modern operational business models.

You are a highly analytical and collaborative Product Manager with strong Product methodology background and a deep expertise in AI, Analytics and the digital consumer journey. You have a good knowledge and understanding of data opportunities for both tech & business sides. You can effectively partner with Data Engineering to develop a sustainable and scalable data foundation to support the data solutions. Your role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, BI engineers, data engineers, data governance, and business stakeholders such as product, engineering and design, to prioritize and develop product roadmaps that align with global organizational performance and sustainability goals. As a Senior Data Product Manager, you will be expected to:

Technical Skills:

• Possess a strong understanding of data technologies, architectures, and analytics platforms to guide the technical development of data products;

• Have experience with data modeling, analysis techniques, and predictive modeling, with the ability to work closely with data engineers to implement these into product features;

Product Management Skills:

• Define and articulate product vision and strategy, translating complex data insights into clear, user-centric product features;

• Develop and maintain detailed product roadmaps, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business impact, customer needs, and market trends;

• Lead cross-functional teams through product development cycles, from ideation to launch, ensuring that products meet quality standards and customer expectations.

Collaboration and Leadership Skills:

• Leverage your core business domain expertise and work closely with business, product, engineering and design, to identify needs and prioritize and develop product roadmaps that align with company goals.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, presenting product plans, progress, and performance with clarity and confidence Champion a data-driven culture within the organization, advocating for the importance of data in decision-making processes and product development.

Experience:

• Proven experience in product management, specifically in developing data products or analytics solutions

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to manage product development cycles

• Strong analytical skills, with experience in using leading data visualization tools and modern analytics platforms (Databricks, dbt) to inform product decisions.
