Data Protection Officer

Preferred candidate profile

• Hands-on experience with privacy regulations such as the DPDP Act, GDPR, and ISO 27701.
• Strong understanding of the organization's existing systems and end-to-end data flows, which is critical for effective privacy governance.
• Ability to coordinate with external auditors and conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and stakeholders interaction is key.
• Experience in privacy governance, compliance audits, incident management, and regulatory interactions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with senior management, regulators, and business teams.

A professional with 12 years of experience would be better suited for roles such as Privacy Analyst or DPO Support Officer.

Candidates holding the following certifications may qualify : ( Exp can be discounted with certificates in any of the below )

• IT Project Management (e.g., PMP, Prince2)
• IT GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance)
• Cybersecurity (e.g., CISM, CISSP)
• Risk Management (e.g., CRISC, CISA)
