Data Quality Analyst

For one of our clients based in Poland, we are currently looking for a Data Quality Analyst .

Job details:

• Start date: ASAP
• Contract Duration: 12 months with extension
• Remote work from Poland

Scope:

• Prepare realistic synthetic sample data, metadata records, API payloads, glossary terms, reference datasets, and data product examples for conformance testing.
• Create compliant and non-compliant test scenarios and test packs to evaluate rules reliably.
• Define and assemble required evidence for non-automated or partially automated governance rules, including screenshots, metadata records, catalog entries, validation outputs, and exception logs.
• Execute and support conformance testing, record pass/fail/warning/exception outcomes, and pinpoint rules or requirements that need refinement.
• Build adoption dashboards, conformance tracking reports, and operational metrics in Power BI to give stakeholders visibility into progress, exceptions, and evidence status.
• Feed test results and adoption metrics back to governance teams to improve rule wording, test examples, and evidence expectations continuously.

Skills:

• Strong data analysis skills with a data quality mindset.
• Practical proficiency in preparing structured datasets, test packs, and governance evidence documentation.
• Hands-on experience working with JSON, SQL, Excel , and building reports or data profiling dashboards in Power BI .
• Ability to interpret metadata models, data products, API payloads, and data catalog records.
• Analytical ability to distinguish between genuine test failures, defective test data, ambiguous rule definitions, and missing documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to articulate test failure root causes, missing evidence, and remediation steps clearly.
