Data Quality Associate

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Quality Associate to support our project by reviewing, validating, and verifying data entered into our systems. The primary responsibility will be to ensure that the data is accurate, complete, consistent, and entered according to the defined requirements and guidelines.

The candidate will compare entered data with source information, identify errors or inconsistencies, correct data wherever authorized, and report discrepancies that require further review.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify data entered into the system against source documents or reference information.
• Check data for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and proper formatting.
• Identify incorrect, missing, duplicate, or inconsistent information.
• Correct data errors according to project guidelines and standard procedures.
• Cross-check information from multiple sources when required.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy while processing large volumes of data.
• Record and report identified errors, discrepancies, and data-quality issues.
• Follow defined validation rules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Maintain confidentiality and security of project-related information.
• Coordinate with the project/operations team to clarify data-related issues.
• Complete assigned data-validation tasks within the given timelines.
• Maintain proper documentation of completed validations and identified issues.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in data validation, data entry, quality checking, data processing, or back-office operations.
• Basic knowledge of Excel functions such as Sort, Filter, Find, and basic formulas.
• Experience working with web-based applications or data management systems.
