The role requires practical pharmaceutical data knowledge and the ability to independently move work from requirement discovery through validation and operational handoff.
Required Qualifications

- Relevant DQ experience in pharma or life sciences, preferably supporting commercial, medical, patient, or field analytics use cases.
- Working knowledge of common pharma datasets, such as IQVIA claims and prescription data, LAAD/patient-level data, HCP/HCO and affiliation data, Veeva CRM activity, payer/market access data, product sales, specialty pharmacy, marketing, and master/reference data.
- Intermediate SQL skills, including joins, CTEs, aggregations, window functions, data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Experience leading requirements workshops and translating business needs into clear DQ rules, thresholds, exceptions, ownership, notifications, SQL logic, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Experience profiling source data and implementing checks for completeness, validity, uniqueness, consistency, accuracy, timeliness, volume, anomalies, reconciliation, and business rules.
- Experience analyzing failed checks and record-level evidence, investigating false positives, coordinating issue triage, and documenting status, resolution, and recurring patterns.
- Strong analytical, documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder communication skills; able to explain technical results in business terms and maintain audit-ready traceability
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Databricks and Snowflake for profiling, query development, view creation, validation, and source-to-target reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with Ataccama ONE, including profiling, catalog, rules, monitoring projects, scheduling, notifications, result analysis, and rule documentation.
- Familiarity with Collibra for catalog search, business glossary, ownership, lineage, governance relationships, and connecting DQ rules and results to governed assets.
- Experience with Collibra Data Quality & Observability and Collibra workflows.
- Experience with Power BI data-quality dashboards, incident reporting, KPI validation, or drill-through analysis.
- Experience supporting UAT, production rollout, stakeholder training, Jira intake, operating procedures, and release controls.
