■Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the analytical strategy of the organization. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end data science projects, from initial concept and design to final implementation. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business problems into actionable models, ensuring that our data-driven initiatives directly support the company’s mission to optimize healthcare solutions.

■ Main tasks include

• Lead the planning and implementation of complex data science and analytics initiatives from start to finish.
• Apply advanced machine learning and predictive modeling techniques to derive insights from pharmaceutical data.
• Perform comprehensive data preparation, including integration, cleansing, and sophisticated feature engineering.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making.
• Continuously refine analytical frameworks to stay at the forefront of the pharmaceutical industry.

■Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of professional experience in data science, or 5+ years of post-doctoral experience in a related field.
• Expertise in advanced analytical techniques, specifically machine learning and predictive modeling.
• Proven experience in handling data pipelines, including data integration, transformation, and cleansing.
• Strong proficiency in programming with Python and SQL (R knowledge is highly valued).
• Solid experience in leading full-cycle data science projects.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to influence project outcomes.
• Professional-level proficiency in Japanese and business-level proficiency in English.
