Data Science Intern

We're looking for a motivated Data Science Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience working with real-world data, building models, and supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured datasets
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns
• Assist in building, testing, and validating machine learning models
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights (e.g., using Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Matplotlib/Seaborn)
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers on ongoing projects
• Document methodologies, findings, and code for reproducibility
• Present findings to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis
• Familiarity with SQL for querying databases
• Understanding of statistics and basic machine learning concepts (regression, classification, clustering)
• Experience with libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn (preferred, not mandatory)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
