Job Description:

As a Support Specialist L1 Agent on the team you would be the first point of contact for our users (primarily Data Science Developers) who are utilizing Meridian or Meridian GeoX via GitHub. You will provide timely and effective support, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product documentation and support processes. This position requires a strong understanding of Python, familiarity with Bayesian statistics, and excellent communication skills. You would moderate, answer, and escalate technical support questions in GitHub:

Experience:

Min 2-3 years in each aspect of the above requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Preferable Qualifications – PG Diploma or Master’s in Statistics, (or) at least one Graduate level course in Probability Theory

Data Science Skills

Foundational Understanding of Bayesian Statistics: Ability to grasp and explain basic Bayesian concepts (prior distributions, posterior distributions, etc.).

Understanding of Media Mix Modelling (MMM) Concepts: Basic knowledge of MMM principles and the challenges it addresses.

Understanding of Inferential Statistics, Sampling Techniques and Experimentation.

Ability to interpret statistical output.

Expertise in analyzing large datasets (Marketing related DS experience can be a good match), Data Sanitization using Python,

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Python: Strong understanding of Python syntax, data structures, and libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy).

GitHub Proficiency: Experience using GitHub for issue tracking, version control, and collaboration.

Ability to read and understand code.
