Data Science Lead

Principle Accountabilities

• Develop, test, and deploy advanced machine learning models, algorithms, and analytical solutions  to identify patterns, uncover insights, and solve complex business challenges.
• Translate business requirements into data science solutions , ensuring analytical initiatives align with strategic objectives and support executive decision-making.
• Research, implement, and continuously enhance data science, machine learning, deep learning, and AI capabilities, contributing to the development of technical architecture and best practices.
• Establish robust model evaluation, validation, and monitoring frameworks , ensuring machine learning and Generative AI solutions are explainable, traceable, scalable, reliable, and capable of delivering measurable performance.
• Communicate and document data science outcomes effectively , presenting actionable insights to business and technology stakeholders, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Support the wider data ecosystem , collaborating on data preparation and ETL activities where required.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrable professional experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics.

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and statistical analysis tools.

• Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical methods.

• Experience working with large-scale datasets and data visualization tools.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
