Data Scientist / AIML Engineer / Gen AI Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, reliable, production-ready AI/ML and LLM applications.
• Build and maintain RAG pipelines, AI agents, and LLM workflows using structured outputs, validation, retrieval, and business rules.
• Perform debugging, root cause analysis, model evaluation, data analysis, and performance optimization.
• Develop automated evaluation, validation, and testing frameworks for AI applications.
• Develop and integrate APIs and AI solutions with existing products/platforms.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed AI systems for accuracy, reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Follow strong software engineering, clean code, modular design, testing, and maintainability practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver AI solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience building AI/ML applications.
• Strong Python and software engineering skills.
• Hands-on experience in AI system design, evaluation, monitoring, and optimization.
• Experience developing and maintaining production AI applications and RAG architectures.
• Knowledge of LLMs, NLP, structured outputs, validation, retrieval, and business rules.
• Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
• Strong knowledge of debugging, testing, clean code, modular design, and API development/integration.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or ChromaDB.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD/deployment pipelines.
• Experience with AI agents, LLM frameworks, and observability/monitoring.
• Exposure to FinTech/financial products and domain-specific AI use cases.
