Ecological Energy Technologies Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to join our innovative team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources into our data warehouse and analytics platforms
• Design and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics solutions to address business problems, optimise processes, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organisation
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and statistical modelling to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within large datasets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, software engineers, and database administrators to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Optimise database performance and query efficiency to ensure fast and reliable data retrieval for analytical applications
• Document data models, analysis methodologies, and findings in clear and comprehensive reports for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in data science, machine learning, and database technologies
• Provide recommendations and insights based on data analysis to support strategic business initiatives and improve operational performance

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or machine learning roles
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation and analysis
• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries including scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing, and experimental design methodologies
• Experience with data visualisation tools and techniques to communicate insights effectively
• Proficiency in working with relational and non-relational databases, including database design and optimisation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex issues into manageable components
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and familiarity with Agile development practices
• Preferred: experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Preferred: knowledge of domain-specific applications in energy, sustainability, or environmental sectors
