Data Scientist

We are looking for a skilled Data Scientist to develop data-driven solutions using statistical analysis, machine learning, and advanced analytics. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets and translating business requirements into practical analytical and machine-learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Develop and implement machine learning and statistical models.
• Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and optimization.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into data science solutions.
• Develop predictive and classification models for business use cases.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate statistical and machine-learning techniques.
• Use Python and relevant data science libraries for analysis and model development.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, BI teams, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights.
• Support deployment and monitoring of data science models in production environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning / Advanced Analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or similar libraries.
• Strong understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts.
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms or ML platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Banking or financial services experience is preferred.

Pay: From E£130,000.00 per month
