Kraków-based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days in office, 3 days remote).

As a Mid-Level Data Scientist , you will be working for our client to develop and optimize cutting-edge machine learning pipelines. Join their team to shape intelligent solutions that impact business decisions and foster technological progress.

Your main responsibilities:

• Support the ML team with feature engineering, model selection, training, validation, and testing
• Analyze datasets to evaluate their suitability and contribution to projects
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and data engineers to enhance pipeline performance

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in classical ML pipelines
• Hands-on knowledge in feature engineering and models such as XGBoost, LightGBM, MLP, autoencoders, etc.
• Advanced SQL skills in standard language and proficiency with Python APIs (PySpark, pandas)
• A detail-oriented and diligent personality with excellent communication skills

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Knowledge of Apache Spark
