We are looking for a Business Analyst

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transform complex data into rigorous, explainable and actionable insights to support business decisions.
• Explore and interpret data to identify patterns, trends, outliers and inconsistencies.
• Formulate and test hypotheses using statistically robust methodologies.
• Develop, validate and interpret statistical, predictive and segmentation models.
• Apply descriptive and inferential statistics, regression, time series and multivariate analysis.
• Select and evaluate Machine Learning models, ensuring robustness and explainability.
• Use Python and SQL to explore, clean, structure and validate data, ensuring consistency and reliability.
• Critically assess model assumptions, methodologies and results, distinguishing correlation from causation.
• Translate quantitative findings into clear conclusions and business recommendations.
• Use BI and visualization tools to communicate analytical results effectively.

PROFILE & SKILLS

• 3–6 years of professional experience in Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Applied Statistics or similar quantitative roles.
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Data Science or an equivalent quantitative field.
• Strong foundation in statistics, applied mathematics and data analysis.
• Experience with descriptive and inferential statistics, probability, regression, hypothesis testing, time series and multivariate analysis.
• Experience developing, validating and interpreting statistical, predictive and segmentation models.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning model selection, validation, explainability and robustness assessment.
• Strong Python skills, including pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, statsmodels and visualization libraries.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience in data exploration, cleaning, structuring and validation.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools, ideally Power BI.
• Strong quantitative reasoning skills and ability to understand relationships between variables.
• High attention to detail and methodological rigor.
• Strong critical thinking and curiosity, with the ability to challenge assumptions and analytical conclusions.
• Ability to investigate and solve unstructured problems independently.
• Ability to communicate complex analyses in a simple, clear and business-oriented manner.
• Strong commitment to analytical quality and reliable results.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
• Availability to work fully onsite during the first 1–3 months, followed by a hybrid arrangement of 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely per week.
