About the Role

Techwave Technologies is seeking a skilled and analytical Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in statistical analysis, machine learning, data modeling, and predictive analytics. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to transform complex datasets into actionable business insights and develop data-driven solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets from multiple sources.
• Develop, train, evaluate, and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, and forecasting.
• Apply statistical techniques, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Build predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions to support business decision-making.
• Develop data pipelines and feature engineering workflows to prepare high-quality datasets for modeling.
• Use Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch to develop analytical solutions.
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases and data warehouses.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, ROC-AUC, RMSE, and MAE.
• Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to define analytical requirements.
• Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance.
• Apply model validation, version control, reproducibility, and responsible AI practices.
• Communicate technical findings and business recommendations through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Document methodologies, model assumptions, experiments, and analytical results.
