About the Opportunity

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Data Scientist who enjoys turning machine learning models into working solutions used in production.

In this role, you’ll build traditional machine learning models, deploy and host them using AWS SageMaker, and monitor their performance to keep them running reliably. You’ll combine hands-on model development with MLOps—the processes that help teams deploy, maintain, and monitor machine learning solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and implement traditional machine learning models.
• Build, train, deploy, and host models using AWS SageMaker.
• Apply MLOps practices to support reliable model deployment and ongoing operations.
• Set up monitoring and telemetry to track model performance and system health using Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent tools.
• Monitor deployed models and troubleshoot deployment, hosting, and monitoring issues.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver and support machine learning solutions.

What You’ll Bring

• 7+ years of overall professional experience, including 4–7 years of relevant experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with traditional machine learning algorithms and model development.
• Demonstrated experience building and training models using AWS SageMaker.
• Experience deploying and hosting machine learning models.
• Hands-on experience implementing model monitoring and telemetry.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or equivalent monitoring tools.
• A strong understanding of MLOps and supporting machine learning models in production.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Supporting machine learning initiatives in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Managing production machine learning workloads on AWS.
• Monitoring model performance and understanding how deployed systems are operating.

Who Will Thrive in This Role

You’re a hands-on Data Scientist who can manage the full model lifecycle—from development and training through deployment, hosting, and ongoing monitoring.

The primary focus is traditional machine learning, AWS SageMaker, and production MLOps . Analytics, reporting, or Generative AI/LLM experience alone would not cover the requirements of this position.
