Data Scientist | Bristol (Hybrid) | Salary: £50,000 - £70,000

Peaple Talent have partnered with a leading UK engineering consultancy looking to grow its Digital team with the addition of Data Analysts and Data Scientists.

This is an opportunity to apply Python, SQL, machine learning and AI to real-world challenges across engineering, energy and the built environment.

You'll work alongside engineers, consultants and software teams on varied projects, from exploratory analysis and forecasting to statistical modelling, AI and developing data-driven tools.

What you'll be doing:

• Using Python and SQL to analyse complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
• Developing statistical models, forecasting solutions and machine learning applications.
• Applying AI and generative AI to practical business challenges.
• Building dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Power BI
• Collaborating with stakeholders to turn business problems into effective data-driven solutions

What we're looking for:

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience in data analysis, statistics and/or data science.
• Exposure to machine learning and AI applications.
• Experience with data visualisation and communicating insights to stakeholders.
• A strong problem-solving mindset and understanding of good coding practices.
