Data Scientist / Data & Analytics Specialist

Status: Full-time (Permanent Remote)

About the Role We are seeking an analytical, results-driven Data Scientist / Data & Analytics Specialist to help transform complex data assets into actionable business insights and predictive models. In this role, you will analyze large datasets, design machine learning algorithms, build automated analytics dashboards, and partner with cross-functional teams to solve strategic business challenges. This position is ideal for an experienced analytics professional skilled in statistical modeling, database management, and data visualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, analyze, and interpret complex data from disparate sources using Python, R, and SQL.
• Build, validate, and deploy statistical and machine learning models (predictive, classification, clustering, time-series forecasting).
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Develop automated data pipelines and ETL processes in collaboration with data engineering teams.
• Perform statistical testing, trend analysis, and root cause analysis to identify key performance drivers.
• Translate technical analytics into clear business recommendations and executive presentations.

Tools, Resources & Technical Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist or Senior Data Analyst.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R and complex SQL database querying.
• Strong hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Pandas).
• Backup systems are required (Noise-cancelling headset, backup computer, backup internet, and backup power supply).
• Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills for an international business environment.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.
