Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Data Architect with a strong foundation in data architecture principles to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data storage solutions, developing archival strategies, and ensuring effective backup and disaster recovery processes. The role requires a deep understanding of security controls, access governance, cyber resilience, compliance, and scalability roadmaps to support our data management initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data storage architecture that meets organizational needs and industry standards.
• Develop and maintain archival strategies to ensure data retention and compliance.
• Establish and oversee backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard data integrity.
• Implement security controls and access governance measures to protect sensitive data.
• Ensure cyber resilience by identifying potential threats and developing mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Create and maintain a scalability roadmap to accommodate future data growth and technology advancements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Data Architecture principles and best practices.
• Experience in designing and implementing data storage solutions.
• Proficiency in developing archival strategies and backup/disaster recovery plans.
• Understanding of security controls and access governance frameworks.
• Knowledge of cyber resilience strategies and compliance requirements.
• Ability to create and maintain scalability roadmaps for data systems.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in data architecture or a related role.
• Relevant certifications in data management or architecture are a plus.
