Data Scientist _Forecasting and Analytics

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-oriented professional with expertise in Machine Learning, Forecasting, Workforce Planning (Staffing), and Business Analysis.

This role requires good client-facing skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to quickly learn new domains, methodologies, and technologies to deliver impactful solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and optimize Machine Learning models/forecasting model to solve business challenges.
• Apply statistical and predictive modeling techniques to improve forecasting accuracy and operational outcomes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities.
• Evaluate model performance and drive continuous improvements.
• Translate forecast outputs into actionable staffing and operational strategies
• Conduct root-cause analysis and translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Present insights and findings to leadership and clients in a clear and compelling manner.

Technical skills:

• Strong understanding of Machine Learning algorithms and predictive analytics.
• LLMs and GenAI are good to have.
• Experience with forecasting techniques such as Time Series Analysis, ARIMA, Prophet, Exponential Smoothing, or equivalent methods.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelors or master’s degree in data science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative field
• 3-7 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, Forecasting, Business Analysis, or related roles.
• Experience working directly with client stakeholders and business leaders.
• Experience delivering end-to-end analytical projects from requirement gathering through implementation.
