Data Scientist III

Duties:

We are looking for a Data Scientist to support an operations transformation program for a leading player in metals space:

Must-Have Skills:

• 3 TO 5 (Priority) or 5 to 7 years of total experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python programming for data analysis, modeling, and production-ready code
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Machine Learning algorithms, model development, validation, and deployment
• Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and working with large, complex datasets
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions
• Experience with SQL and data visualization tools is preferred

Good-to-Have Skills:

1. Experience in manufacturing, metals, mining, or industrial operations analytics.
2. Experience working in consulting engagements or cross-functional teams with business stakeholders.

Education

Bachelors degree in quantitative field like Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field required. Advanced degree is a strong plus
