Data Scientist (Junior to Mid Level)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Apply statistical and machine learning methods to large, complex data sets to draw insights and provide actionable recommendations.
• Solve complex problems on both technical and business sides using advanced analytical methods.
• Work with teams to implement end-to-end process from model development to testing, validation, and deployment.
• Research and develop new quantitative models and frameworks to enhance the company’s data science capability.
• Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed.
• Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems.
• Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
• Derive insights into business actions and recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business Analytic, Business Management, Data Management, MIS or any related field.
• At least 5 years of direct experience in Data Science or Data Analyst and more than 10 years of work experience related to customer campaign management, customer portfolio management, customer data management, or lead management.
• Solid knowledge and working experience in lead and campaign process for sales. Skilled in report development (at least Excel report) or familiar with business intelligence concept and tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
• Outstanding coding skills or software development background.
• Experience in financial industry, preferably insurance, is a big advantage
• Excellent in presentation development and communication skills.
• Excellent command of English in both verbal and written forms.
• Strong knowledge in AI and LLM is preferred.
