Data Scientist - Korat

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate Machine Learning models using factory sensor and time-series data.
• Build models for anomaly detection, prediction, and process monitoring.
• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify process issues and potential root causes.
• Support the development of AI/ML solutions for autonomous process control.
• Evaluate model performance using appropriate statistical metrics and future-period test data.
• Work with Factory IT and Engineering teams to apply ML models to real production problems.
• Document model development, testing results, and technical approaches.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, or related fields.
• Around 1 year of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning.
• Experience with Python and libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Basic understanding of Statistics, Probability, Linear Algebra, and Optimization.
• Experience with Time Series data, Anomaly Detection, Forecasting, or Predictive Modeling.
• Basic knowledge or project experience in Reinforcement Learning (RL), MPC, or Contextual Bandits is preferred.
• Understanding of Causal Analysis / Explainable AI such as SHAP is a plus.
• Good English communication and ability to explain technical concepts.

Location: Nakhon Ratchasima
Working: On-site, Mon–Fri 08:00–17:00
Contract: 12 Months
