Data Scientist (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will focus on building and applying advanced statistical and machine learning approaches to improve product decisions and long-term outcomes. You will lead hands-on analysis across large-scale digital data sets, turning user feedback and behavioral signals into actionable insights. In close partnership with cross-functional teams, you will help shape experimentation, data pipelines, and narrative-driven recommendations that support a subscription media business.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $125,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mathematical models to support long-term product goals
• Lead hands-on analysis and modeling projects using appropriate analytical methods
• Conduct quantitative analysis to derive insights from user feedback
• Develop and maintain data science pipelines in production environments
• Guide and oversee complex experimental designs
• Foster a collaborative and innovative data science culture

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience as a data scientist or data analyst with real-world problem-solving skills on web-scale data
• Strong proficiency in Python for training and deploying machine learning models
• Solid understanding of SQL for data manipulation in warehouses
• Familiarity with subscription media and recommendation engines for actionable insights
• Knowledge of statistical principles relevant to predictive modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to convey complex concepts and craft compelling data narratives
