Cytomos

Company Description
Cytomos is enabling cell therapy manufacturing at scale by revealing novel insights into bioprocesses through its proprietary
AuraCyt®
platform. AuraCyt® combines revolutionary dielectric spectroscopy with advanced analytics to deliver rapid, unbiased, and label-free cell analysis, spanning from microchip-integrated sensors to powerful data-driven insights.
Cytomos has developed a disruptive, IP-protected technology platform that provides label-free cell analytics to support the discovery, development, and manufacture of next-generation biologic and cell-based therapies. By enabling deeper understanding of cell populations and critical process parameters, AuraCyt® has the potential to accelerate development timelines, improve manufacturing consistency, and enhance product quality across the cell therapy value chain.
Role Description
The Data Scientist, Signal Processing role is full-time, ideally onsite at Roslin.
We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who is self motivated to work both independently and within a close-knit team, and who personifies our company values:
We Care. We Pioneer. We Collaborate.
Reporting to the senior signal processing engineer, you will help to develop and implement algorithmic methods to generate, extract, compare and contrast sub-cellular characteristics from high dimensional, single-cell resolution datasets. This will include development of machine learning algorithms for the extraction of cell electrical properties from data, classification of different cell types within mixed cell populations and changes within a single cell type.
You will be the primary link between the engineering and biology team in the analysis of data and will ensure the information extracted from our data is robust, insightful, relevant and accessible to our end-users. You will also work closely with the hardware engineering team in the testing and validation of new hardware through data analysis.
