Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Solution Architect to lead the end-to-end technical architecture for the CarePath 2.0 Data Platform . The architect will own solution design across data ingestion, transformation, governance, integration, and consumption layers.

The ideal candidate will have 20+ years of overall IT experience , with significant experience as a Solution Architect or Enterprise Data Architect , and mandatory Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience . Strong expertise in Azure Data Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Medallion Architecture, OneLake, Delta Lake, and enterprise integration patterns is required.

Healthcare or Pharmaceutical industry experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for the CarePath 2.0 Data Platform.
• Define target-state data architecture using Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) .
• Design enterprise-scale data solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric .
• Develop scalable, secure, high-performance architectures for analytics and reporting.
• Lead Architecture Review Boards (ARB) and technical design reviews.
• Define enterprise integration patterns and data-flow strategies across CarePath, New Leaf, DEG, and Pharma Navigator.
• Resolve cross-functional technical dependencies and maintain architectural alignment across teams.
• Establish standards for data governance, data quality, security, metadata management, compliance, and MDM .
• Provide technical leadership throughout the complete SDLC.
• Translate business requirements into scalable enterprise data solutions.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Mentor technical teams and drive architecture best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 20+ years of overall IT experience ; minimum 15+ years required.
• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Data Architect, or Enterprise Data Architect .
• Mandatory Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) experience.
• Strong Healthcare or Pharmaceutical domain experience.
• Extensive experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and cloud architectures.
• Strong hands-on expertise with:
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Microsoft Fabric
• Microsoft OneLake
• Delta Lake
• Medallion Architecture
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns, APIs, distributed systems, and data flows .
• Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and modern analytics platforms .
• Experience with data governance, security, compliance, metadata, data quality, and master data management .
• Experience leading architecture governance, ARBs, and technical design reviews.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
